This division of the company was established six years ago after
the closure of the machine refurbishment department based at Carnaud
Metalbox Perrywood Plant. This department covered the majority of
refurbishment projects required throughout the group prior to it's
closure in 1992.
We have successfully
carried out refurbishment projects and service work for a wide range
of plants covering Foodcan, Speciality Packaging, Aerosols and closures
both in the UK and in Europe. We have a very experienced workforce,
all Ex Metalbox employees, with many years experience in the industry
and reputation for quality and adhesion to required timescales.
The
Machine Refurbishment Division has now relocated into a fully equipped
unit, giving 3,400 square feet of work space dedicated to refurbishment
/ modification of machinery - examples being:
- Power
Presses
- Scrolls
- Seamers
- Flangers
- Coaters
etc.
